In September, Tommy took a camera crew from the public television station WMHT in New York to Ireland to film new parts for a second series of Ireland travel videos. These are the follow ups to his successful Tommy Makem's Ireland Parts I and II filmed in 1994 on WMHT. New music was recorded by Tommy, sons Rory and Conor, harpist Aine Minogue and fiddler Sheila Falls. Rory also produced the musical tracks.

Sites visited during the taping include Vinegar Hill, Slieve League and the University of Limerick, amongst others.

The show is now being mixed, though its airdates are not yet available.
